Welcome to Nest & Needle Studio. By placing an order for our bespoke soft furnishings, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they set out our professional commitments to each other.

1. Bespoke Orders & The "Made-to-Measure" Exemption
All curtains, roman blinds, and soft furnishings created by [Business Name] are entirely bespoke and made strictly to your specific measurements and fabric choices. As these items are customized for you, they are exempt from standard consumer cancellation rights (such as the UK 14-day cooling-off period).

2. Quotes, Invoicing, and Deposits
Once we have discussed your project, you will receive a comprehensive quote.
Deposit:To secure your space in our studio calendar and allow us to purchase the necessary materials, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before any work begins.Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the order, prior to delivery or upon collection. Items will not be dispatched until the final balance is cleared.

3. Cancellations & Alterations
Because of the highly customized nature of this work, cancellations are generally not possible once an order is confirmed and the fabric has been cut.If you need to cancel within a matter of hours of paying your deposit—and before any fabric has been cut or ordered—we will process the cancellation.Any significant design changes requested after the project has started may incur additional charges for time and materials.

4. Customer's Own Material (COM)
We are happy to work with fabrics you supply. However, we must see a physical sample prior to confirming the order to ensure it is suitable for the requested item (e.g., appropriate drape for curtains or structure for blinds).If we advise that a fabric is unsuitable but you still wish to proceed, the item will be made entirely at your own risk, and we cannot guarantee the final finish or longevity of the piece.

5. Measurements
Accuracy is vital for bespoke furnishings. If you are providing your own measurements, please ensure they are exact. We cannot be held responsible for items that do not fit if they were made precisely to the measurements you provided. If we have personally visited your property to take measurements, we take full responsibility for the accuracy of the fit.

6. Delivery and Collection
We offer studio collection, local delivery (within a 10-15 mile radius), and UK-wide shipping via Royal Mail or a trusted courier. Delivery methods and associated costs will be agreed upon during the quoting process. While we ensure your items are securely packaged, we are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers once the item has been dispatched.

7. Quality and Care
We pride ourselves on an exceptionally high standard of craftsmanship. Upon receiving your items, please inspect them immediately. If there is a genuine fault in the manufacturing, please contact us within 7 days so we can rectify the issue. Please note that natural variations in fabric (such as linen slubs or velvet shading) are inherent to the textiles and are not considered faults.
